TEDxAUTH brings bold ideas and inspiring stories to life, fostering innovation and sparking conversations at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAUTH, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAUTH event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDx events are independently organized programs licensed by TED. They follow TED's format and guidelines but are organized by local communities to foster dialogue and share ideas at the local level.
TEDx events encourage diverse, innovative, and thought-provoking ideas. The topics must align with TED's mission of spreading "Ideas Worth Sharing" and be non-commercial and non-political.
TEDx AUTH events are open to anyone interested in thought-provoking ideas and meaningful conversations. Some events may have limited seating, so early registration is encouraged.
TEDx talks are typically 5 to 18 minutes long, allowing speakers to share impactful ideas concisely and engagingly.
