TEDxAUTH is an independently organized TEDx event at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, dedicated to spreading thought-provoking ideas and fostering meaningful discussions that inspire and educate. What is TEDx?
TEDx events are locally organized, independently run experiences that follow the spirit and format of TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design). TEDxAUTH is licensed under the TEDx program, allowing us to bring the TED philosophy to Aristotle University of Thessaloniki while incorporating our own unique themes and local perspectives. Just like the global TED conference, our TEDx event is designed to feature short but powerful talks, delivered by individuals who are passionate about their research, ideas, and experiences.
TEDxAUTH follows the same structure as TED’s main conference, where speakers have a maximum of 18 minutes to present their groundbreaking ideas in an engaging and accessible manner. These talks are then shared on TED.com and across various digital platforms, ensuring that the knowledge and inspiration extend far beyond the event itself. Through this initiative, TEDxAUTH continues to contribute to the global conversation of innovation, critical thinking, and social impact.
