Mariza Karidi was born in a museum, with a father who collected marine instruments. She studied History and Philosophy of Science, and Photography in Athens.
Her core values are the responsibility for her thoughts and actions, as well as respect for every living creature.
She lives sustainably, is vegan, and became known through her personal social media account where she shares her eco-friendly lifestyle.
Furthermore, she is also the creator of @girlinthemuseum , an online platform dedicated to art. For the last ten years, she has been participating in peaceful protests for the protection of the environment around the world.
While traveling as a crew member on one of Greenpeace’s ships, she met her partner. Together, in 2023, they are restoring a wooden sailing ship in England and are planning a marine museum with her father’s collection in Kythira.
