Eirini Cheirdari initially studied journalism and worked as a sex editor, while at the same time continuing her studies on human sexuality. However, while she intended to give up, due to the taboo/difficulties of her profession in the circumstances at the time, an encouraging note from the American sexologist Dr Routh dissuaded her and led her, after some years, to start the first program of sex education seminars in Greece.
She was certified in sex coaching, was in charge of the sex coaching department at the Andrological Institute of Athens, retrained in sex therapy and created the “sex academy”, a sex education platform, where she provides webinars and online sessions together with her partners.
