Kenotics

Kenotics is a dance group consisting of 12 members based in Thessaloniki. The name of the group results from the joining of the work “Ken” which in the “Zen” tradition means I see/observe and not just I look. Based on this, Kenotics celebrates the rarity of each person through the acceptance of their diversity. Each dancer as well as each spectator has the opportunity to translate the movements in their own unique way. The projects of the group have variable aesthetics and themes because, like man, art is created by contrasts. At this year’s TEDxAUTH they will present through their choreography, technology as a modern Iris view that brings to light positive and negative aspects of communication.
