Constantina Theofanopoulou

Dr Constantina Theofanopoulou is a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Rockefeller (New York). For her Ph.D. on the Neurobiology of Language and Genomics (University of Barcelona, Duke University, Rockefeller University), she focused on the role of the oxytocin hormone in speech and its evolution in vertebrates, while comparing human DNA with other organisms. In 2021 she was included in the Forbes list 30 Under 30 in the field of Science. She’s a strong advocate for supporting women and other underrepresented minorities in Science.
